Title: A Study on the Concept of Motivation And Development of the Space of Excellent Life (al-Ḥayāt Tayeba) in the Natural Disposition of A Muslim Architect
Abstract: An objective system represents well in the relationship between the structures (body) of architecture and its interaction with the environment. And man’s natural disposition plays an important role in the interaction between the architect, the audience and the architecture. Motivation is known as the main concept of architecture. It leads Muslim architects to develop the space of an excellent life (al-Ḥayāt Tayeba) which, according to the Holy Quran, is the happiness of the world and the prosperity of the hereafter. Applying the method of thematic interpretation, the present inquiry seeks to review the influence of epistemological cause (faith) and the behavior cause (good deeds), in motivating human’s nature to develop a space of an excellent life based on the theory of four causes and according to the Holy Quran. In addition, we would introduce the parallel principles of urban engineering and architecture corresponding to the causes in human’s natural system.
