Saturday, Dec 29th, ISOA was host to Dr. Bahman Panahi, Calligrapher, Graduate of Sorbonne college of arts, and university lecturer from Paris. After 2 meetings with ISOA’s Officials and professors, and a visit to Ayatullah Mar’ashi’s Library for Manuscripts and hand-written books, Dr. Panahi Presented a lecture entitled: Musicalligraphy.
This two-hour session continued with Questions and Answers from our students and professors about the theory of Musicalligraphy and the Philosophical, Mystical and Religious principals that can support or disprove this theory.
After that, we head down to the ISOA’s Cafe for a friendly discussion about studying Art in France. Our students we concerned if France will be a good choice for the continuation of their studies since they explore the theoretical aspect of Art.
